Artists Statement
ForeWord
Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. While in high school, I discovered that it could be a career. I started taking photos full-time since my sophomore year and I haven’t stopped. I love showing what the world looks like through my eyes. My mom calls it my internal viewfinder, so I intend to keep showing the world what I see.
I truly focus on the beauty of the real world, the world that surrounds us all. Through what I produce and show, I focus on maintaining that beauty so that it lasts for generations. By traveling or just stepping foot in my backyard, I aim to show what the world looks like through my eyes; or lens in this case. The beauty of photography is that it gives an individual a chance to show others how they see the world. With my photos, I want to give the beauty a spotlight. Give it a try yourself and see what the world gives you and then take that and show people how you see. Photography helps people see.
